Medialab

Together with partners in culture, business and science, telekult develops cross media projects, which combine the medium film with various art forms, such as exhibitions, performances or presentations. Film can play an important and active role in these collaborations, bringing together the different elements like theater and music.

Additionally, telekult develops DVDs, which serve as an independent medium and document the event or the topic of the collaborations in more detail. Telekult works for art and culture festivals, businesses, public institutions, foundations and museums, and initiates, in cooperation with these partners, cross media projects which combine and unify the goal, information and artistic realization in one single production.

“WALKING IN THE LIMITS” is an international music theater production written for 3 actors and one string trio by Swiss composer and author Heinz Reber (†). It was originally performed as a co-production of the theater spectacle Zurich, the Geneva Festival La Batie, the Grand Theatre de la Ville de Luxembourg and the Berliner Festspiele on the 18th of August 2006 in Zurich - produced by telekult.

The production under the direction of Frank Krug and the stage design by the Australian media artist Lawrence Wallen, thematizes the immediate situation during the months before the fall of the wall in East Berlin and string theory statements about multi-dimensional space and time. Sponsored by the Swiss cultural foundation Pro Helvetia, the Nestlé Foundation of the Arts and the Zuger cultural foundation Landis & Gyr.
