"A Shot Across The Bow" follows 5 people who suffered a heart attack. Director Jana Kalms gets to know the patients in the emergency room und accompanies them during their recovery for three months. Thanks to the wonderful cooperation of the patients and of cardiologist Dr. Leonhard Bruch at the ukb in Berlin, a very personal and authentic film was created; a film about life after a heart attack.
